Im really into all types of music, If it sounds good to the ear I dont care what genre it is. But the music I mostly play is olde tymey stuff. Mainly from the late 1800\\\'s to the 1940\\\'s. Mountain music,Jug band, Delta blues, Country blues, Piedmont blues, early Chicago blues. Im also really heavy into playing the cornet, so with that comes lots of early jazz, mostly New Orleans style,Hard bop, and lots of Mingus and the likes too.
My most favorite guitar players are, Doc Watson, Bo Carter, Charley Patton, Mississippi John Hurt, Howard Alden, Jerry Garcia, Hubert Sumlin....etc...etc. My most favorite horn players are King Oliver, Louis Armstrong, Louis Jordan, Eric Dolphy, Wynton Marsalis & his whole family for that matter...etc..etc. I am also really into music history too.
