So, I just accepted a job offer about 1000 miles away, more money and better climate.

I have been toying with selling all my guitars and buying something different for some time. Since I'll be moving so far away I was thinking this would be a good opportunity to do that.

I wanted to know if anyone else has ever sold all there guitars for new, and if they ever had any regrets doing so?

I never have... but I've heard stories of people who sell stuff they like kicking themselves. But I guess that's when they buy really expensive of boutique instruments and sell them.

If you plan what you're going to get it shouldn't be a problem.

I'm going to keep my Acoustic(I have never found another guitar any price that sounds this good). This moving this is going to be rough. I start in 3 weeks but i also have a family who wants to finish up with school before moving, and a house to sell.

It's often a good idea to leave 'valuables' with relatives or close friends 'till you've completed the move. Insurance is no consolation when something you really love goes missing.
Good luck!

My thing is I'm not all that attached to any of them anymore. They are all cheap under $300 guitars so they are also not too valuable.

I put every thing on craigslist last night and I've already gotten some interest.
