This is kinda similar to tAUG's post but I am looking at getting a new wah for Xmas. I have a standard crybaby, but want something with a much fatter sound and a larger sweep range. A couple of pedals have been suggested: Steve Vai Bad Horsie (Morley), Dunlop Crybaby 535Q, Dimebag signature crybaby from hell...

Any knowledge/ideas/opinions would be great.

Cheers guys,

Afro

Check out the Boss PW-10. Has loads of wah presets and is programmable so you can use as large a sweep range as you want.

i got the ibanez weeping demon...and it has a huge ranges which includes-three tone controls, a soft range adjuster, and you can set the pedal for high or low frequencies which is a really great feature....the wah isnt all that great when playing with a clean tone...but when youre all cranked up for some heavy metal this is the best!

If you like the crybaby sound but want more options, I recommend the crybaby 535q, not only does it do tonal adjustments, but db boost controls as well. ultimately though, you're probably gonna have to try out a bunch to find the one you like.

The Crybaby 535Q is pretty cool.I reccomend you crank your amp or a store amp real loud to try the Wah.Do they have Guitar center in the UK?

I like the ex-7 from digitech and the Ibanez weeping demon WD7 they are both very good with a wide range.

I have a Line 6 Distortion Rig that goes well with the wah has a decent sweep range can't use it on bypass though.
