I present a few last resort propositions for the Cleveland Browns of the NFL. I vote to move the team to Europe, London to be exact. If all goes according to what might transpire with the San Diego Chargers possibly moving to Los Angeles. If that deal goes through there will be too many teams in L.A., so one could replace the Browns in Cleveland. I vote for the Rams. If the Chargers/Raiders would move to Cleveland it would be okay but I like the historical sound of the Cleveland Rams. Another scenario is the Cleveland Browns moving to St. Louis, again harking back to NFL history lore. One more scenario, is the Jacksonville Jaguars moving to Cleveland, which is probably alright. A name change could/should occur if that were to happened. All of these possible moves are probably as likely as the Cleveland Browns consolidating with the Cincinnati Bengals, which is about as plausible as retracting both teams, respectively. It's too bad it won't ever happen, as that would be stating retracting an NFL team is the answer to competitive balance. |
