Ibanez bridge help

I bought an Ibanez rg350dx about a year ago, I busted part of the bridge, and in my anger I threw the whole bridge out.

I looked on ebay for a new, black, floyd rose bridge but there are so many measurements involved, does anyone know what I need to measure on my guitar to match it up to a new bridge?

If this question is too unclear let me know and I will elaborate.

i dont know anything about ibanez guitars....but i think if you go to their site (ibanez.com) you should be able to find a customer service section....you can probably mail your question to them and they can tell you exactly what you need.

I found my exact guitar no prob, but I have 2 issues,

1- The reason I wanted the measurements for the bridge is because the stock bridge is not a licensed floyd rose bridge, I wanted to get a real FR for it because I had alot of problems with the stock one and I have heard alot of bad things about the ibanez "edge" tremelo.

2- If I were to say to hell with it, and get the replacement ibanez bridge, where do I order it at? And how about prices?

TBH, it's very rare to find a genuine floyd these days. I have only ever played one before, and I don't think it matches up to the majority of the modern licensed bridges, but just my opinion. I have always used Ibanez edges and they are FAR superior to most of the other licensed bridges. However, I do know that Ibanez edge IIs and IIIs are not so good, so make sure you don't get confused!

The best place to order bridges from is ebay, I bought mine from a US-based seller called 'proaim'. He was a really good guy with 100% pos. feedback and most of what he sells is brand new - specialises in Ibanez parts.

The dimensions you usually need for a locking trem are the space between the two pivot posts and the length from the front to the back of the bridge cavity i.e. from the end closest to the pickup to the bottom of the guitar body.

I've been checking out ebay for bridges for it. I bid on 2 edge II's and one edge, none of which have gone over 10$ yet, which is a pretty ideal price for me.

I'll check out proaim while I'm there.
