Hey all, long time no talk. :p
So I have a question about my amp. It seems to be fine, but the reverb has been going in and out. Right now it pretty much isn't working at all on the dirty channel, and just a little on the clean. Its a Marshall JCM2000 DSL 100w head made in 1997. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about this to make an easy fix instead of calling up the tech I know and having to pay him to take a look at it.
Thanks,
Ozz |

so I would assume that there is a reverb tank in the head, it will look like a long metal box. just check the wires are connected. Maybe even unplug and plug back in.
Not sure about heads, but I know most combos have them mounted on the bottom and wraped in a tolex type bag.
May looks something like this but not torn out of the head.

Yep that's it. And that's all it needed too, I unplugged the wires and put them back and it works fine now.
thanks, cheers! |

That's cool that you were able to get help here for that issue! Did that have any impact on the dirty channel problem? |

What kind of problem are you having with the dirty channel? |

Yeah its all fine now. The dirty channel seemed to have less reverb when it was actually giving me a fit, but now both channels are up to par. |
