How to read the scales chart on this website

I must be stuck on stupid, because I cannot figure out how to read they formula for the scales chart.

For instance for a Aeolian is

Scale - Aeolian
1,2,b3,4,5,b6,b7

Thus I read it as,
A B C D E Fb Gb

But they have it as

A B C D E F G

What am I doing wrong?

A B C D E Fb Gb

what you do wrong is the scale you start with you don't start with ABCDEFG all the time you start with the Major , e.g. A Aeolian you start with the A Major scale A B C# D E F# G# then you do the same with with you did before and you'll get ABCDEFG
so if you want G aeolian f.e. you take Gmajor , G A B C D E F# and take the intervals and come G A Bb C D Eb F

this way you can get all aeolians with just one interval
