I made a thread called a useful resource and I posted a lesson on modes which a few members found helpful and I just posted another resource I found that could really help people interested in jazz theory. I just had the thought that maybe we should have a stickied thread at the top like the pictures of yourself thread with links to sites that could really help people learn more. The links I posted were: http://www.lifesmith.com/Berkeley%20Teaching/Music%20Theory%20-%20Advanced.pdf http://www.scribd.com/doc/53605430/Jazzology-Robert-Rawlins Also the intermediate and beginner lessons that come before the first link in the series, although I think the subject matter of these is covered in lessons on this site so they aren't necessary: http://www.lifesmith.com/Berkeley%20Teaching/Music%20Theory%20-%20Intermediate.pdf http://www.lifesmith.com/Berkeley%20Teaching/Music%20Theory%20-%20Intermediate.pdf I just think a thread were the first post is the list of links and then users share good resources they find in the thread and they get added to the list if the admin/mods think they are useful and teach something not already in this sites lessons. -Daniel |
