If there's any advice on learning the notes of the fretboard it would be greatly appreciated. I know all about theory. Been playing about 30 years.

Uhmmm, right. Sorry dude, but if you don't know the notes, it's pretty hard to know theory.

memorize where all the a's are,then all the a#/b and ect.. or learn the notes of any major scale and the diff modes then move on to the other 11 and that should be all the notes
