what does this mean 1, b3, 4, 5, b7

Joined: way back Belgium Karma: 2	b means flat so a pentatonic minor is formed by taking the a major and taking the 1st , flattened third , fourth ,fifth en flattened 7th from it. so for example 3 from A major is C# , b3 is C , so b doesn't mean minor... gl
