Well on the one hand I see the point of what they're (the authorities) trying to achieve, but realistically it's much like trying to stop drug trafficking by hitting on the junkie.

It isn't just today. There's ALWAYS been a lot of garbage in the charts.
It's easy to tell which bands are rubbish. They're always playing Gibson standards that are so brand new you can almost see the sap dripping from the mahogany!

I'm completely baffled by this though, why would they take away the computer files, the wood, and unfinished guitars because they have wood that is allegedly home to lemurs... little story about lemurs, I was at a zoo in Arizona a few years back, and I walked over to the lemur place. They looked all cute and cuddley and like Monkey Cats(IDK). Apparently the mother of the little guy that was intrigued by me didn't see me fit to look upon her offspring and jumped from one side of the cage, to the other(which was about a 5 foot jump) and stretched her arm out to grab me and came up about 1 inch short of doing just that. Oh and she was screaming at me the whole time, even during her Monkey Cat Ninja leap at me.
I hate lemurs and they return the favor.

Scenario 1) (unlikely) Maybe the authorities have gone all 'green' and are dropping a big hint to Gibson that they should be looking at timber that's not quite so endangered.

Scenario 2) (more likely) Maybe your Tax people are suspicious of some of Gibson's expense claims and are using this as a cover up to go through the books.

Scenario 3) (most likely) A federal agent bought his kid a Les Paul for his birthday. The seller was a con man and didn't let on that the guitar was previously owned by Bubbles (Jacko's chimp). On inspection papa fed noticed the guitars neck was warped. His kid had a look, sniffed the neck and said, "I can smell monkey p*ss..........

lol, I think the 3rd probably happened... maybe they also checked the factory for monkeys?

Then his account got deleted. His name was Fu[k_Gibson, thats the only reason. With his account went the thread.
