Iron Maiden Sound

Could somebody tell me the equipment that Iron Maiden used on the Album "Powerslave"?

can you be more specific :)... I mean, defining whole Iron Maiden setup could be quite an task...

Im huge Adrian Smith fan and if you seek his setup you should start with following.

Ibanez TS-9 Tube Screamer, Marshall 6100LM 100-Watt All-Tube Head. Peavy Tubefex Tube Preamp. He uses two kind of guitars mainly, American Stratocaster by Fender and Gibson SG, If I remember right, SG's was stock. I think that in strat he uses srv texas special pickups and DiMarzio pickups.

On cabinets, you should use 2x 300 watt Marshall 1960A angledfront 4x12 cabs.

Murray plays also with American Stratocaster by Fender and you should try with these

Marshall 9200 Dual MonoBlock Power Amp, Marshall JFX-1 Multi-FX,
Marshall JMP-1

But!!! The Tone!, comes from your fingers! Only partly from equipment. Capiche!? ^_~
