Metronome "Rest" Instrument

Would be great to have a tenth "instrument" included on the metronome -- a rest. Pure silence.

This would allow, for instance, hearing the downbeat only in 2/4 time.

Such a circumstance can be emulated by merely halving the tempo. That doesn't work, however, when doing so takes it under 40 beats per minute.

Also, precision is lost when cutting in half an odd numbered BPM.

A rest would enable so much more flexibility in this regard.
