The 20's with your pinky, the 17's with your index, the 19's with bends with your ring finger. Everything except that 16 appears to be inside the "first" pattern of the pentatonic minor scale. |

@Moonlit , yes that's what i would think at first but since it's so fast i would think it's easier to bend with middle and pull off with the ringfinger , anywayz i don't think kirk himself would use his pink for this
oke and secondly how do you handle it with the 17 on the e and b would you bar it with your index or not? is it possible to jump so fast to the other 17 ? or do i just suck? lol
i'll try the next days with my pinky , thx for the answer though !

When you bend strings like the 19's in this tab, you support your ring finger with your middle and index fingers. You use your whole forearm when bending strings also. You "roll" your fingers to different strings. This takes awhile to be able to do correctly for everybody. If you stick to it, you'll be looking back at this tab laughing at the thought of it being hard. Just takes practice. |

really the 19's with the three fingers i would have done it with just ring and middle so i had the index free to play the 17 , this will take some practice yes ... do you also bend with your pinky(supported by other fingers) ? |

Yes you can bend with your pinky(supported by other fingers and your whole hand and forearm). It takes a lot of practice to do it consistently and without hurting yourself. As with the bends..you can do it like that as long as you are hitting the desired note, without being out of tune. It helps to use all three of those fingers for control. With things that take a lot of control(like putting vibrato on a bent note), it is really hard to get it consistent with just two of them. You will be able to switch strings real quick with practice, so it won't be an issue anymore. |

so if i get it right , first bar 19 with fingers 1-2-3 then the 17 with finger 1 then 20 with the pinky and the 17 you roll your first finger up to the 17 and so on? |

The fingers I listed are the ones used to fret the notes, regardless of which strings. There is no barreing, fingers 1-2-3 would be on the g string, with the ring finger on 19, other fingers behind it for support. |
