is your action just too low?
the strings weren't too low before you restringed them , right?
so i wouldn't know what the problem is if you restrung them well
maybe some more information about what type of strings , thickness type of bridge (floyd rose or normal)
just watch at the saddles of your bridge and see if they are too low , is this the case move them up , could be due to other problems too though..
sorry , can't help you too much :( |

doesn't the buzzing goes away when you raise the saddles some more?

if you had a buzz before you changed strings new strings won't help. Guitar needs to be set up could be the bridge or nut is too low. Or both. |

Setting up your guitar is something you should learn to do. A great way is to find a local guitar store with a tech who is a player willing to let you watch him work while he sets up your guitar. I'm that tech in a store where I live, and I'll be glad to show you how to take care of your axe. It's worth what you pay me to learn how, and you should only have to pay me once, and not every time you drop it or your little brother takes his tool kit to it. You can also check out several sites that do a great job...start with the manufacturer of your guitar. Almost all top makers offer specs and tutorials re: setting up their instruments. Google guitar setup. |
