how can i use lydian scale in soloing?

make sure your gonna be using it over a lydian chord progression, or over chords that use that #11(#4), then just make sure you use the lydian mode, just get used to using it like anyother scale, so you know where all the notes are and stuff,

also listen to the riddle by steve vai, or flying in a blue dream by satriani, they both use the lydian mode,
