So rather than hijack this thread <a href="http://www.all-guitar-chords.com/topic.php?id=2283">Recording/software</a> I thought i would start a new one.

So it turns out of fallen brother skold got banned. I for one would like to know why. And how many others are going to secretly get banned with out the notification of the rest of the forum?

hmm i was wondering why i was a bit quite on these forums lately. i miss his random pictures that dont make any sence :'(. a moment of silence?

It's the Admin's choice to ban someone, he obviously felt Skold crossed the line too many times. He was banned for three days before, but I've forgotten why, but it was a good reason.

This time, I never heard word about him being banned, but he's told me he has. He's also joined another forum.

He spammed a lot and people complained, then I think he probably crossed the line when he put the title "Sexual Harassment at All-Guitar-Chords" EVEN though it had nothing to do with it, the title was probably inappropriate.

Actually, no. He was banned for posting "indecent" picture.

I liked AmericanBrit, He had a great sense of humor. I don't know why he was banned.

Well I've posted pictures before. Probably indecent. Although that relies on what Mr. control freak labels "Indecent". So have a lot of other people. Why Skold? An example of power I assume? Making an example of him? He WAS one of the more rebelious ones like myself and Baud. Hell, it's a wonder I haven't been banned yet.

i didnt Baud was banned, probally because he was posting stuff about drugs.

I don't consider the admin a control freak. I think a little bit of overseeing is understandable. Baud was a piece of *hit! His sole purpose for joining this forum was to destroy it. Proof exists. I wouldn't cross the street to spit on his shoe. Skold is in a different class entirely. Skold just kind of got on a roll sometimes and didn't know when to quit. Also when he was "joking" he wouldn't put in a smiley face or "LOL" to let us know. Later someone would take offense and then the would say it was a joke. You gotta somehow declare your intent when you are walking the line. You are a valued member and I can't imagine anyone having a problem with any of your posts. I certainly don't.

Well, actually I shouldn't say much about Baud. I on;y knew him when he said I sucked or something and I came back with a comeback that he for some reason couldn't respond to. The whole cencorship war is the last time I spoke with him.
And believe me, I can get worse than Skold. I just don't do it here because there is no point to, everyone is cool. And as far as I'm concerned, Skold was one of the cool ones too. And what you said about not knowing when to stop, no, he didn't but getting banned for raunchy jokes and missing "lol"s and smileys seems quite petty. Nothin' against you Phip, just sayin'.

I said "maybe". Really it isn't any of my business, I'm sure Admin had his reasons. Having said that I wouldn't have a problem with him coming back.

It doesn't matter now, he is un-banned. Its a matter of "Will he return?" now.
