I'm buying my first electric guitar (I've been playing acoustic) and I'm considering either a used Sanatoga Les Paul, or a new Epiphone Les Paul Special II. I don't know much about Sanatoga... does anyone have any opinion on which of these two guitars would be the better choice? Your opinions would be appreciated :) |

If it's your first guitar go with an Epiphone. My opinion, other than that go to the local guitar shop and try some out. Pick the one you like best. Unless you're worried about price, go with the cheapest one, only since it's your first guitar. You don't have to worry about tone a lot. |

yea, just make sure whatever guitar you buy feels comfortable to play, has a decent action at the higher frets, and the higher frets are easily accesable,
im trying out a js100 tomorow, as im thinking of purchasing one, it looks quite nice :D |
