F#/d =d/f# ?

Are these the same chords? if not whats "F#/d"

I dont get these chords

They are not the same chords.
F#/d is a F# chord with the bass note "d"
D/f# is a D chord with the bass note "f#"

But the F#/d could also be called F#+
The + means/stands for augmented
I will try and break it down for you
F# chord has the notes F#,A# and C#

These notes are the 1st 3rd and 5th notes from the key of F#.
1 3 5

yeah ok this thing is screwing up all the spacing. sorry I had a whole nice long answer for you but it would be too hard to explain with the spacing all off. Hmmmm... I will try tho ok the 1 is supose to be over the F# and the 3 is over the A# and the 5 is over the C#. Ok thats the formula for the F# chord 1 3 5 F#A#C#. The order can be like that which is the root postion. Or it can be 3 1 5 A#F#C# which is first Inversion chord name F#/a#.Or 5 1 3 C#F#A# 2nd Inversion chord name F#/c#.
So to augment something is to make the 5 sharp in this case the 5 is C#. That then becomes a "d" note. So F#/d is #5 1 3. The "d" is the bass note. hope that helped. any questions just ask :)
