I'm gonna re-do the vocals (and turn them up), so don't worry about that.

Note: This is the first draft, so it's not perfect.

Lyrics

-----------------

You're running around in your circle, losing your very sight.
If you looked at yourself any closer, you'd see man without his life.
I've got strength in the father. My mother? She's alright.
I'm not saying I'm perfect. But, at least I can sleep at night.

I know I'm a grungy man.
It's never dandy and swell.
I don't have the smoothest hands.
But, it's ok. I say, "very well".

I say,
La la la-la, la-la la la.
La la la-la, la la la la.

I think you are tired of living life that way.
You can trust in the provider to keep you day by day.
It's never ever easy to give your life away.
But if we're gonna be talking easy, what is, anyway?

I know I'm a grungy man.
I never sang too well.
I don't have the smoothest plan.
But, it's ok. I say, "very well".

I say,
La la la-la, la-la la la.
La la la-la, la la la la.

Aye, nice song again m8. I suggest equalize your vocals more from higher frequencies and put volume little up.

One of your best drum tracks imo and very nice overall.

Cheers!

this sounds like, "Ode To Baudilaire", coz he bagged out your singing..."i neva sang too well"...and from that argument bout ur mum and ur unwealthy (notice the neutral word) life. i get a feeling that this song strongly reflects that??

I see those things in there, page. Yes. It's really about being ok with things. Specifically, I can trust in The Lord with my problems, so I don't have to worry about things.

Yeah, I'm a grungy looking person, I don't do all the things that are cool and hip, and I don't sing too well. But, I'm content.

Notim, I don't think I said that I sang this song. On some songs I sing, on others I talk.

In my opinion, talking (or storytelling, if you prefer that) is just another way to sing.

Oh man, I just realized that this sounds a lot like "all around the world" by Oasis.
