Help me read this please thanks?

Okkay so whenever i want to find a scale i would cme to his site, and then i would click for example C majour scales and the i would get the image, how would i read it:

C,D,E,F,G,A,B,C

You start at the orange note, then you play the yellow notes in between, then you end at the other orange note. In this case:

Orange = C
Yellow = D,E,F,G,A,B
