Hey man Insomnia was amazing! I loved the way it ended, way to go. I'm really not into the shreadding type of music but really liked it.
One thing i did notice is some of the transitions between the different parts were not really smooth but I think i can hear what you where going for. I really liked how the different parts were well diffrent and contrasted effectively.Good job!!!
No where to go, was ok. Like i said I'm not into that type of music and really did not like that song too much. |

sup guitarslinger? good stuff as always. the only thing that i would critize constructively is the insomnia song almost sounds like two different songs run together where the style changes at around 1:10-1:20 i think it was. how do you get that metal distorition sound but still clear?in other words its not a muddy distortion. what pedals you use and the such? |

I actually began writing a song named Insomnia a while back. I just started the lyrics one night when I couldn't go to sleep... I'll have to go find where I put that notebook. |

i plug my guitar straight into a POD 2.0 (one of the most under-rated guitar pedals!!) and from there into a lambda interface and into cakewalk. i also have a line six pedal board with a volume and wah pedal.
if anyone is interested, i've got another new song, more of a "devil blues" song at showcaseyourmusic.com/rshred . song's called "Natas si Ni Uoy" |

That's way cool man, "Natas Si Ni Uoy" that is. What does it stand for?
The main guitar lick immediately made me think Van Halen. That's a very cool take on the blues man. Keep it up, it sounds like you have a lot of direction. |

the guitar solo? thats just distortion and delay. if you mean the intro riff, thats a little distortion with some delay and a lot of reverb. |

Not really into it, but it's good for what it is. You could probably do something with it. |
