Would You...

Would you ever paint your guitar a different color or do something to it to make it look "Original"?

ive been thinking of making some inlays or pinstripes with electrical tape or something

I'm going todo that soon, I'm rebuilding my Stratocaster sort of, keeping the body, replacing everything else. Just need to choose, neck, Pick-ups and tuners. Then I can order the stuff and start on it :D

I would only consider it on a paint-like finish, so no covering/ruining sunbursts, transparents, etc. Some of Tom Morello's (of Rage Against the Machine) customized guitars are pretty cool, including his most famous guitar, Arm the Homeless (cool name!).

Yeah, was going to do something like that :D Put also masking off and adding some designs...I just like the imagination to think of something :(

mines just black and chipped to fuck :z, want a sort of blueish one now hahah..

I already kinda started to sand the paint of mine down, but then I realized that the would underneath might look really crappy, so I stopped. Now I have a small sanded down part on the back of my guitar. :-/

I would write something on mine like Tom Morello did, but I can't think of any good slogans.

I painted mine 2 weeks ago ala Frankenstrat and it just feels godly now

Anyways this topic is good and yes I would paint my guitar but not unless I had money to replace it just in case I messed it up. Right now I have two stickers on my Kelly and Two stickers on my Strat.

Weird Pusher your post came before mine and it wasnt there when I first posted. Yeah I was thinking of builduing a Frankenstrat but it looks real good the way it is now. I might just change the neck to a charvel or Fender. Maybe its better to just buy a Charvel. My guitar Strat doesent get any cheaper but it holds sentimental value.

=| I need to decide on a new neck, I want a slimmer one then the normal Strat neck, then just got to choose the electronics and I can begin designing the stencils to paint on my guitar =D

Yeah, like the lot I know were massive layed back, but were also know as 'nutcases' in that if someone starts on us, unlike them we go 1v# we dont use the gang method of fighting like them, sure we get verbel abuse but we just find it funny that no ones found anything new to say in the last 2years.

Man, I have no idea why but no one will touch me anymore or if they do they get the toughest mofos they can find to back um up..I'm literally the pacifist of my school, I'll just take shit loads of crap and just walk off from it.
Only thing I've ever done in violence was grab one of them by the neck pin him to the wall then throw him through a door after breaking his arm (I let go and as I walked of he punched me in the back of the head..I wont take that)

IMO, they sound like they are too pussy to do it themselves.
I usually don't like to use violence (unless carrying on with friends pushing each other around, or like playing rugby or american football)

But sometimes I just can't control it.
In janurary this dude was like being violent toward me so i grabbed him by the neck and punched him then I got punched in the face and he ran off cause he was scared.

Well although it's pretty shitty, too, I kinda like the way things're going at your places. Here everyone's like for a gang fight. Noone will come and fight with you, they always call their whole neighboorhood, all their classmates or something, and everyone of them's got a knofe(at least a knife). And if they wanna have a fight with you alone, they always grab to their knives. Dude I justa wanna have a fight, not get killed or kill, LOL.
I'm pretty much a pacifist, too, but I had this fight last year. I was playing Footbottle(Lol, not a real game actually, football with a little bottle)with some guy, and when I was garabbing the bottle with my hands, he pushed it of my hand, so I lightly threw it to his legs(Pacifist, lol), and when I was taking a short rest like 10 seconds after that, he punches me on the nose, out of nowhere, and I startes bleedin. I just went nuts, and just as the teacher came in, I ran ti the back of the classroom, and do him so bad, his eye's got swollown', and he was bleeding from the nose, although he had cought by the neck very badly. I just couldn't stop punching till this big buy grabed my the belly and lifted me up. Dude, I was ANGRY.

yeah man I don't get in fights but last year I remember someone said something about how someone would crush the Ducks in the Stanley Cup Finals and I brought up how they had torn apart the Canucks reulted in me the biggest person in the school punching in the throat he nearly went in to cardiac arrest I got kicked out after that but you know, but I dig what Mici is saying cause my whole town is getting to where people are carrying knives and there was a drive-by right next to my school a few months back and its hella bizzare cause I live in a little town on an island in Canada but violence is violence and it'll akways be I suppose
