New problem

Hey guys whats up? Today I came across a new problem. I am getting a popping and sratching sound coming from my amp, especially when I touch or wiggle the chord near the jack on the guitar. The nut wasnt loose so I tryed a different chord and it does it still. I turned off the amp and unplugged the guitar. Then I turned the amp back on just to see if it would make any noise and it started fussing like static and then quit. Then it would start again and quit, just a repeated process. Note: It only does the fuss thing when the distortion channel is on and chord is unplugged from the amp. Any ideas?

check the amp input jack for dirt , I was having this problem but was the guitar jack

oh great, i hope it aint the jack cause i dont know how to put one in and there isnt anyone in my town that works on guitars.

But check with the guitar plugged in move the cable in boths jacks when the noise stops , check this jack
