I just watched some videos on YouTube of him.. He was AMAZING. Too bad he got that ALS thing. How do you get it? Man if he wasn't paralyzed he'd do great things. What about that system that reads his eye movements and makes music? What's up with that?

He's been one of my 2 heroes since I saw a video of him a few years ago... It was a news thing and it had ashort thing of him playing, this was right after I started getting serrious about playing too...

Yeah he was fucking insane but I think Lou Gerrigs disease slowly paralyzes you but its true Jason Becker can still compose by a series of blinks and eye movements also hes kind of a 1 in a million case considering he's had Lou Gerrigs for like 15 years

Jason is a outstanding guitar player and person and yes he still does compose

I heard of that Lou Gerrigs disease thing... my friend's cousin has it and he's 30 something.
It like paralyzes certain parts of you first, then more and more, then you can't speak and then like your airwaves get blocked or something.
