Being a beginner, you probably do not have the hand strength or stretch that you need for a B chord, so there are ways around it. In many cases, depending on the genre, you can get by playing a B7 chord (low to high): x21202. Another way to play a B chord is to use the basic non-barred F chord shape and moving it up to the seventh fret, fingered like this (low to high): xx9877. This is an actual B chord and it is easier to play than the most common type: x24442. |
