Hi!

So, this is my first lesson, so don't be rough.

(This lesson is for electric guitar, normal tuning, must be distorted and it's easier if you're using a small, bendi pick.)

The main riff

This is what we'll use for this lesson :

e]-0-5-0-7-0-8--
B]--------------
G]--------------
D]--------------
A]--------------
E]--------------

Play it using your pick, down and up, down and up.
Try playing it slowly 4-5 times, then play it faster and increase your speed until you think it's enough.

Adding squeals

When you're feeling good about playing the riff, add a squeal at the last note, like this -

e]-0-5-0-7-0-8squeal--
B]--------------
G]--------------
D]--------------
A]--------------
E]--------------

Try controlling the squeal, change when you're doing it ect.

The complete version is :

e]-0-5-0-7-0-8--
B]--------------
G]--------------
D]--------------
A]--------------
E]--------------

play this 3 times, and then :

e]-0-7-0-9-0-10-0-5~-0-9-0-10
B]---------------------------
G]---------------------------
D]---------------------------
A]---------------------------
E]---------------------------

Repeat as many times as you like.

Hope you learned something!

I think he means a Artificial Harmonic by squeal.

Squealing is a technique where you use your pick and finger to make the guitar "scream", it's also called "Pinch Harmonics".
